Welcome to Paros!

Paros is one of our favorite islands in the Cyclades and where Dimitris spent many summer holidays as a child.

You can arrive in Paros by plane or ferry, from Athens. For those joining us from far away, we’ve also included some recommendations in Athens, as you may need to layover.

We’ve included our recommendations of where to stay and places to explore while you’re in Paros. On the island, we recommend renting a car to get around!

24 Hours in Athens

  • We recommend staying close to downtown, which is by the Acropolis

    Downtown:

    • Kolonaki

    • Plaka

If you have more time and want to stay by the water:

    • Vougliameni

    • Zillers. Great restaurant

    • Mona Athens. A great hotel right in the center

    • Perianth Hotel. Set on lively Agia Irini Square between Syntagma and Monastiraki, Perianth Hotel offers a cultured counterpoint to the city’s historic grandeur by celebrating its Bauhaus lineage and vibrant art scene

    • Fresh Hotel. Located in downtown Athens, Fresh Hotel is an urbane, design-driven address that blends understated luxury and genial hospitality.

    • The Modernist Athens. Tucked in a tranquil, leafy corner of Kolonaki, just steps away from the National Gallery, The Modernist offers a composed retreat that feels distinctly attuned to its surroundings

    • Athens Flair. Discreetly tucked away on a tree-lined street in Kolonaki, Athens Flair unfolds as an intimate urban hideaway

    • Kuka Luxury Suites. Set on a quiet backstreet in Koukaki, Kuka Luxury Suites offers a calm counterpoint to the city’s constant motion. Its just a short walk from the Acropolis and Plaka

    • 91 Athens Riviera. Set along a quietly revitalised stretch of the coastline south of Athens
